SEEN AND HEARD AT RFK STADIUM

Anyone who wandered into the ballpark around 2:30 p.m. yesterday might have wondered what Manny Acta was doing standing at the Nationals’ dugout railing motionless for a good 20 minutes. Turns out he was posing for a photo that will run as part of series in Washingtonian magazine. The photographer apparently needed to snap about 50 versions of the same shot to come up with one usable one, so he told Acta to focus on one spot in the distance and remain motionless. “I think I may have hurt my back,” Acta said later.
