INJURY REPORT

Right-hander Jason Bergmann (strained hamstring) threw off a mound yesterday for the first time since his injury and reported no problems. Bergmann hopes to be back as soon as he’s eligible to come off the disabled list Aug. 10. He will now report to the Nationals’ spring training complex in Viera, Fla., for more rehab. Bergmann will be joined there by right-handers John Patterson (compressed nerve in throwing arm) and Jesus Colome (surgery for an infection on his right buttock). Shawn Hill (right elbow tendinitis) makes his second rehab start tonight for Class A Potomac.
