SEEN AND HEARD AT RFK STADIUM

Here’s another one of those head-scratchers about the game day experience at RFK, pointed out by MASN analyst Don Sutton.

You know the song they play as they announce the Nationals’ starting lineup shortly before game time? It’s a rousing, Western-sounding tune, a somewhat familiar-sounding theme to a movie no one can quite remember … except for Sutton.

“It’s ’The Magnificent Seven!’ ” Sutton said.

So, yes, the Nationals are introducing their starting lineup (which includes nine players) to the theme from “The Magnificent Seven.”

OVERHEARD

“His raw ability is top of the list. Hopefully, it’s something where it clicks here and all comes together.”

— Austin Kearns on new teammate Wily Mo Pena
