Firefighters battle a blaze that broke out around 3 a.m. in the 4280 block of Allendale, in Detroit, Friday, April 25, 2014 near the Interstate 96 service drive, on a street littered with abandoned homes. The home where the fire began was so consumed that the only thing left of the structure were the concrete front steps.
