There aren’t 100 NFL players better than Jaylon Johnson. At least, that’s what the Chicago Bears cornerback is telling reporters.

The 25-year-old earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2023 but was left off the NFL’s Top 100 list.

“It’s bulls—-,” Johnson said of the snub. “There ain’t no way. I don’t know how you make Pro Bowl, All-Pro and not be a Top 100 guy. I could’ve been 101 I guess, but …  Aaron Rodgers didn’t even play in the season and he was voted [92nd].”

Active NFL players vote on the list each offseason, culminating in a final countdown ahead of the preseason. The Top 10, led by Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, was unveiled on Friday night.

“I mean, hey, everybody makes mistakes, it ain’t just the media that do it. Players clearly, if they voted for it, they made [expletive deleted] mistakes,” Johnson said. “But it is what it is. At the end of the day, I know the truth and it’s all right, I got some more for them.”

The Utah product said the list would “100%” motivate him this season before confessing that he couldn’t imagine his peers leaving him off the list.

“Ain’t no way,” he repeated. “Ain’t no way.”

A trio of Washington Commanders — wide receiver Terry McLaurin (No. 97), linebacker Bobby Wagner (No. 59) and defensive tackle Jon Allen (No. 54) — made the Top 100 list.

Washington’s honorees developed a reputation as reliable performers who elevated the players around them.
