As an independent voter, I liken Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her VP pick, Tim Walz, to two cars you see off in the distance. When you get closer, you see two bright shiny vehicles with new paint jobs.

Your heart flutters with great expectation until you see the first (Ms. Harris) up close. The windows are darkly tinted so you can’t see inside. Then the owner walks up and you ask if you can open the doors. She says OK, and when you do you see the inside looks like someone threw a hand grenade in it. When you lift the hood there is no motor (Ms. Harris’ mind), only a deteriorating, empty hole of rust.

Then you see the other car (Mr. Walz). It has four flat tires and dents all over it. You ask the owner why she tried to cover these up with new paint, and she tells you that her Republican husband, who passed away, wanted people to be aware because things are never what they seem.

Like so many other Americans in the 1960s and ’70s, I joined the U.S. military and was sent to Vietnam to fight the communist takeover. I swore an oath to defend my country against our enemies; I never swore an oath to adhere to Marxism, socialism or communism. Doing so would have been treason.

Ms. Harris and Mr. Walz are guilty of treason under our Constitution for giving aid and comfort to an enemy and poisoning our country with the socialist-Marxist doctrine. Ms. Harris also committed treason by giving our sworn enemy Iran $6 billion in a prisoner swap.

The far-left news media are just as guilty for misleading the country into believing that Ms. Harris and Mr. Walz are some sort of second coming of Christ, when in fact they are the apocalypse bringing death and destruction to all.
