ARLINGTON, Texas — In their final game of the year, the Redskins trail 20-10 at halftime against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Redskins committed two turnovers in the first quarter as Case Keenum threw an interception and Adrian Peterson fumbled. Washington’s defense, though, kept Dallas to field goals each time.

But the Cowboys’ offense started to click. Dallas’ first touchdown was set up with a 48-yard bomb from Dak Prescott to Amari Cooper, putting the Cowboys in the red zone. From there, Prescott hit Ezekiel Elliott for a 13-yard touchdown a few players later, finding him in the back of the end zone for the score.

Later, the Cowboys scored again when Elliott rushed for a 33-yard touchdown, breaking multiple tackles in the process.

Montez Sweat was the lone bright spot for the Redskins defensively, recording two sacks in the first half. He now has seven on the year.

On offense, the Redskins put together a solid drive just before halftime. With 34 seconds left, Steven Sims hauled in a six-yard pass from Keenum for the touchdown.
