MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Officials say transportation technology company KeepTruckin Inc. is investing $3.6 million to expand its current operations in Tennessee.
Gov. Bill Haslam says in a statement that the fleet management company plans to hire about 385 people to fill sales representative, manager and operations jobs over the next three years in Nashville. KeepTruckin established an office there last year and recently moved to another Nashville location to accommodate its growth.
San Francisco-based KeepTruckin says it has built a network of over 500,000 truck drivers who are connected online. KeepTruckin provides electronic logging devices, and GPS, fuel tax compliance and video monitoring services, to trucking companies.
KeepTruckin CEO Shoaib Makani said in a statement Wednesday that “Nashville’s rapid growth echoes our own.”
