INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Ron Patterson scored 16 points with three steals and Aaron Brennan added 15 points with 11 rebounds as IUPUI defeated Green Bay 67-61 on Friday night, sweeping the Phoenix in Horizon League play and winning two in a row for the first time this season.
The double-double was Brennan’s first of the season and his second ever for IUPUI (6-11, 3-3) and T.J. Henderson added eight points with a pair of 3-pointers. Evan Hall had 10 boards and six points as the Jaguars outrebounded Green Bay 46-38.
Kameron Hankerson scored 16 points for Green Bay (7-13, 2-5) which cut a 13-point deficit in half - on an 11-4 run - over the last 3:18. Despite four fouls, Manny Patterson, who picked up three fouls before halftime, added 14 points and eight rebounds, David Jesperson added 10 points.
The Phoenix trailed by 11 at halftime and were 0 for 7 from 3-point range with one assist in the first half. Green Bay finished 3 of 16 from distance with eight assists.
