MESA, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on an explosion at a business Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (all times local):

Authorities say three employees of a manufacturing business at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport were injured in an explosion involving compressed natural gas that was being transferred through a hose for testing.
Deputy Fire Chief Forrest Smith says something went wrong, causing the Wednesday morning explosion in an outdoor receiving and holding area at Alcor Energy.
Smith says one employee was hospitalized in stable condition with blunt force trauma injuries that aren’t life-threatening. He says two other workers had minor injuries.
Smith says the incident didn’t significantly impact airport operations though one departing aircraft paused briefly after the crew and passengers felt a tremor from the blast.

Authorities say three people were injured, including one seriously, in an explosion as workers transferred compressed natural gas at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa.
The Mesa Fire and Medical Department says the explosion occurred Wednesday morning at a backup ramp area and away from runways.
Officials say the explosion hasn’t affected the airport terminal or flight operations.
Additional information was not immediately available.
Phoenix-Mesa is located on the site of a closed Air Force base and serves as reliever airport for Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. It hosts flights of Allegiant and WestJet airlines.
