TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Desmond Williams and Marcus Barham each scored 22 points and Florida A&M pulled away late to beat North Carolina A&T in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference contest Saturday night.

North Carolina A&T came into the game in first place after completing a 12-0 home schedule, its first undefeated home season since 1987-88, and in search of its first outright MEAC regular season title since the 1991-92 season. Instead the Aggies were knocked into third place with the loss, a game behind Bethune-Cookman and a half-game behind Hampton.

The Aggies now travel to Daytona Beach to face the Wildcats Monday.

Williams, Barham and Elijah Mayes combined to score 62 of the Rattlers’ 83 points. Florida A&M (7-23, 6-8) shot 52.6 percent from the field (3- of 57), including 7 of 15 from behind the 3-point line.

Denzel Keyes scored 16 points and Davaris McGowens and Aaren Edmead each added 15 and Femi Olujobi contributed 14 points and grabbed seven boards for North Carolina A&T (17-12, 10-4).
