YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Jessica Lindstrom because the all-time double-double leader and No. 19 Green Bay outscored Youngstown State 21-0 in the third quarter on Saturday and coasted to a 67-42 win.
Lindstrom finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds, her 36th double-double, as the Phoenix (23-3, 13-2 Horizon League) bounced back after having their 11-game winning streak snapped on Thursday. Lindstrom passed former All-American Julie Wojta for the school’s Division I record.
The Penguins (12-14, 8-7), who entered with a five-game winning streak, scored 14 points in each quarter except for the third, when they went 0 for 14 from the field with four turnovers.
Youngstown State was 9 of 30 from 3-point range and 5 of 22 inside the arc.
Green Bay never trailed and led by 10 after one quarter and 35-28 at the half. The Phoenix had a 47-26 rebounding advantage and 34-10 on points in the paint.
