LEWISBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A new airline has landed at a West Virginia airport.
WVVA-TV reports that United Airlines operated by SkyWest is offering flights from the Greenbrier Valley Airport to Washington-Dulles International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Airport Director Stephen Snyder says flight pricing is competitive and parking at the Lewisburg airport is free, as opposed to at Charleston’s Yeager Airport. He said the service to the two international airports means that “international and national travel from this part of West Virginia has never been easier.”
The flights will run every day, with an additional flight to Dulles on Thursdays, Fridays and Sunday.
