LANDOVER — Wide receiver Maurice Harris spent the first eight weeks of the season on the Redskins’ practice squad. He was promoted to the 53-man roster on Saturday.

But Harris made quite the impression in his first game of the year Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings — hauling in a 36-yard touchdown with an incredible one-handed catch.

Harris streaked down the sideline and caught a bomb from quarterback Kirk Cousins. The pass was originally ruled incomplete, but Redskins coach Jay challenged the call.

It was overturned, giving Harris a touchdown on his first catch of the season.

The Redskins and the Vikings are tied at 7 with 8:18 left to go in the first.
