HEBRON, Ky. (AP) - A Delta flight from Cincinnati to Orlando, Florida, went back to the airport after a smoky odor was detected in the back of the plane.

Delta spokesman Michael Thomas said in an email the 148 customers on board were given a different aircraft Thursday “out of an abundance of caution.”

Thomas said the aircraft was a McDonnell Douglas MD-88.

He said the plane landed at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron without incident.
