Jamie Horowitz is out as president of Fox Sports National Networks amid an internal investigation into sexual harassment allegations.

“I regret to inform you that Jamie Horowitz, President of National Networks for Fox Sports, will be leaving Fox Sports effective immediately,” read a memo from Fox Sports President Eric Shanks, president, chief operating officer of Fox Sports, Sports Business Daily first reported Monday. “We realize this news may come as a surprise for many of you, but we are confident in this decision.”

“Everyone at Fox Sports, no matter what role we play, or what business, function or show we contribute to — should act with respect and adhere to professional conduct at all times,” he wrote. “These values are non-negotiable.”

Mr. Horowitz joined the network in May 2015 and oversaw Fox Sports 1 and 2. His dismissal came less than a week after 21st Century Fox started investigating allegations of sexual harassment at the network, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Lawyers have interviewed female employees about Mr. Horowitz’s behavior, a source told The Times.

Mr. Horowitz’s attorney, Patty Glaser, said the network’s treatment of her client has been “appalling.”

“At no point in his tenure was there any mention by his superiors or human resources of any misconduct or an inability to adhere to professional conduct,” Ms. Glaser said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Jamie was hired by Fox to do a job, a job that until today he has performed in exemplary fashion. Any slanderous accusations to the contrary will be vigorously defended.”
