House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said he’s not quite sure what President Trump is going to tell congressional Republicans at their retreat in Philadelphia Thursday — but he says that’s what he loves about him.

“You can never predict what you’re going to hear, because I’ll tell you: This man at times is unpredictable, and that’s what I love about him,” Mr. McCarthy said Thursday on “Fox & Friends.” “He’s going to push us and he’s going to drive us.”

“He wants to see the economy start to move. He wants to see a new health care plan,” said Mr. McCarthy, California Republican.

“So we have a 200-day plan … and we’ve sat with this president, worked [at] it,” he said. “You’re going to see tax reform. You’re going to see regulation reform — unshackle what’s been holding back this economy.”

In addition to Mr. Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and British Prime Minister Theresa May are also slated to appear at the retreat on Thursday.
