MACON, Ga. (AP) - Ria’n Holland had 24 points and Stephon Jelks added 12 with 10 rebounds as Mercer thumped Florida A&M 82-64 on Saturday.

Holland drilled 6 of 8 from beyond the arc, making 7 of 10 field-goal attempts. Jelks also had seven assists. Jordan Strawberry added 12 points for the Bears (6-4).

Mercer, coming off a double overtime loss to Memphis last Saturday, spotted Florida A&M the lead before taking control with 11:04 left when Cory Kilby nailed a 3-pointer for a 25-15 lead. Mercer ran out to a 47-31 halftime advantage. The Bears had a run midway of the second period that pushed their lead to 76-50 with 7:37 left.

Marcus Barham drilled 7 of 11 attempts from beyond the arc for 21 points to lead Florida A&M (1-10), which has lost six straight. Desmond Williams added 13 with Nick Severado chipping in 10 points.
