HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Police in southern Nevada are asking for the public’s help as they continue to develop new leads in the investigation of a carjacking and stabbing of an Uber driver in December.
Henderson police said Tuesday the victim is continuing a lengthy recovery from severe neck injuries suffered during the attack at an apartment building on Eastern Avenue at about 10 p.m. Dec. 14, 2016.
Investigators say the suspect slashed the driver’s neck then carjacked his gold Chevrolet Capital. The vehicle later was recovered.
The suspect is described as a white male adult with blue eyes, blonde hair and a red tattoo under his right wrist. He’s believed to be 25-30 years old, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall weighing 150-175 lbs.
