PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A New Jersey man has been charged in a shooting outside a gentleman’s club in Philadelphia last week.
Authorities say someone fired two shots March 27 at a woman getting into her truck in the parking lot of Delilah’s Den, hitting her vehicle. She ran inside and wasn’t harmed.
Police said surveillance footage showed a man trying to get to the club’s roof earlier. His vehicle was traced to New Jersey, where Gloucester Township police had arrested 29-year-old Lawrence Mitchell of Laurel Springs the day after shooting after they found him in possession of marijuana, a rifle scope, and magazine.
He has been extradited to Philadelphia on charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault. The Defender Association of Philadelphia, listed as representing him, didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.
