President Trump saw positive movement in a new poll from Quinnipiac University.

The poll shows the president’s approval rating jumping 5 points, from 35 percent to 40 percent, from earlier this month. Those who disapproval, however, only dropped 1 point, from 57 percent to 56 percent.

On the issue of airstrikes in Syria, Mr. Trump received overwhelming support with 61 percent saying he made the right decision, and 52 percent saying the U.S. has a “moral responsibility” to do something about the crisis.

When it comes to character questions, however, Mr. Trump saw minimal movement from earlier this month.
