DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - A 20-year-old Davenport man has been charged with fatally shooting his parents in their home.

The Quad-City Times reports (https://bit.ly/2dhdEdn ) Sean Michael Freese is facing two charges of first-degree murder for Wednesday’s shooting of 58-year-old Kevin Freese and 57-year-old Donna Freese.

Sean Freese was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Police say he lived at home with his parents.

Authorities say Sean Freese planned the killings, but they didn’t discuss his motive Wednesday.

Rene Gellerman with the Quad-Cities Chamber of Commerce says Donna Freese and her husband Kevin often volunteered at chamber events and were involved with other nonprofits.

Donna Freese ran her own human resources firm while Kevin Freese was chief financial officer at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Davenport.
