EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island’s Democratic governor says she’s wary of letting her young children watch the final presidential debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.

Gov. Gina Raimondo said she’ll probably let her 12-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son watch Wednesday’s debate in Las Vegas but will turn it off if it’s not “PG-rated.”

The Clinton supporter said she had to send her children away from the second debate on Oct. 9, which broached Trump’s vulgar comments about women and former President Bill Clinton’s sexual history.

Raimondo says she’s worried her kids can’t watch Wednesday’s debate and says that shouldn’t be. She says she remembers growing up when her own mother would make her watch the debates.

She says she hopes Wednesday’s debate is focused on issues and stays clean.
