DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Department of Transportation says it’s not entertained by an online video showing a clown clinging to the back of a moving city bus.
The video that was recorded from another vehicle was posted on YouTube recently. In a statement, DDOT says that the “safety of our riders is DDOT’s number one priority.” The transit agency says it has video cameras inside and outside its buses and asked police to review the case.
No one was reported injured and no one was taken into custody. Police are investigating.
Michelle McKinney, who is a regular bus rider, tells WDIV-TV that she thought the video (https://bit.ly/2dEIkZa ) was scary. She says you don’t know what the person dressed as the clown was trying to do.
