Bill Clinton was repeatedly labeled a rapist during a live Fox News broadcast Saturday morning by a man who got on cameras a day after radio host Alex Jones promised $5,000 to anyone who could accomplish the stunt on national television.

The incident occurred outside the network’s midtown Manhattan studios shorty before 8 a.m. Saturday morning during a live-taping of “Fox & Friends” hosted by Tucker Carlson, Abby Huntsman and Ed Henry.

Ms. Huntsman was introducing a segment on dog adoptions when an onlooker standing several feet behind the hosts revealed a T-shirt showing the former president’s face above the words “RAPE.”

The man, who was not immediately identified, yelled “Bill Clinton is a rapist” five times as security guards attempted to remove him from the camera’s view.

“We’ve got a very excitable young man behind us!” Mr. Carlson joked. “Not a Bill Clinton fan.”

The shirt worn by the man responsible for the stunt is sold through Infowars, a website run by Mr. Jones, a Texas-based radio host and avid proponent of conspiracy theories.

On Friday, Mr. Jones offered a $1,000 reward for anyone who could wear the shirt on national television, and $5,000 for simultaneously calling the former president a rapist.

“Anyone that gets on national TV with the shirt clearly, for more than five seconds, gets $1,000. That means behind cameras, you name it. Anyone that gets it on air on national TV and gets the words out ’Bill Clinton is a rapist,’ or things along that line, with a bullhorn — I could go to this right now, $5,000,” Mr. Jones said.

The host tweeted a link to the Saturday morning stunt several hours later from his official Twitter account directing followers to an Infowars article that described the man as a “patriot.”
