BOSTON (AP) - A dozen religious leaders from Boston will meet this week for an interfaith round table discussion on disability inclusion.
The Ruderman Family Foundation, a Boston-based advocacy organization for disabled people, will host the event Monday at Northeastern University.
Leaders from different denominations inside Boston’s Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Buddhist communities are expected to discuss the challenges for people with disabilities and to share best practices. At the end of the discussion, religious leaders will strive toward a collective goal of making all places of worship in Boston fully inclusive by the year 2020.
