UPDATE: United Airlines has fixed a computer glitch and flights are resuming across the U.S.
United Airlines had grounded all U.S. flights Wednesday morning due to a computer malfunction.
The Federal Aviation Administration said an “automation issues” was causing the problem for the American-based carrier.
United said Wednesday that it is working to resolve the problems, which are related to “network connectivity.”
The Chicago company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
CBS News reported the company’s reservation system is down.
