Beverly Carter, the 50-year-old real estate agent and mother of two who went missing while showing a house to a prospective client, was found dead in Cabot, Arkansas.
Police arrested Arron Lewis, 33, on kidnapping, ABC News reported. He’s admitted to kidnapping but faces a court hearing on Tuesday to face charges of murder, said Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Carl Minden.
Carter’s body was found about 25 miles from the house she was reportedly showing Mr. Lewis last Thursday.
She is survived by her husband of more than 30 years, two grown sons and four grandchildren — with a fifth who’s about to be born, ABC News said.
