Former CNN host Piers Morgan is the latest in a growing number of liberals who say President Obama has gone too far with the golfing getaways.

Mr. Morgan took a swipe at Mr. Obama in a Twitter post shortly after the White House pool report emerged about the president’s plans for Sunday.

West Wing Reports tweeted, “President golfing at Andrews this afternoon,” to which Mr. Morgan replied: “Might be easier to report when he’s NOT golfing.”

Mr. Obama’s most recent golf-related controversy — when he stepped away from his vacation to give a quick message about the Islamic State beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley, and then went golfing — stoked even Democratic fire.

Noted liberal commentator Ezra Klein tweeted that the president’s decision was “in bad taste,” while New York Times White House correspondent Peter Baker noted that many Democrats “privately” were dismayed by Mr. Obama’s “judgment error,” The Daily Banter reported.
