Islamic State terrorists shot down an Iraqi military helicopter that was flying by the town of Beiji, killing both pilots on board.

Baghdad officials say the group used a shoulder-fired missile to down the Bell 407 on Wednesday, The Associated Press reported. Beiji is where Iraq’s largest oil refinery is located.

A Defense Ministry official in Iraq confirmed the plane was downed and that the two pilots were killed, AP said.

This is the second time in just a week that Islamic State terrorists have shot down an Iraqi military chopper. On Friday, they downed an Mi-35 helicopter — also near Beiji — killing both the pilot and co-pilot.
