LETTER TO THE EDITOR: ‘Hire’ members of Congress carefully

OPINION:

I was thinking about today’s job market and the opportunities available for employment-seekers, and I stumbled across an amazing opportunity. This job has only a few qualifications, including age, residence and citizenship, but there is no job description and no experience is necessary. The successful applicant will be able to determine what, if anything, he must do, as well as determine his own work schedule. The best part: The successful applicant will be able to determine his own salary, benefits, holidays and vacations.

We all should remember this when we select those who will represent us in Congress this November. Oh, yes — these are the same folks who decide much of how we will live our own lives and how much money we owe to the rest of the world.
