Women looking for larger breasts but who aren’t keen on undergoing life-changing surgery may get their wish.

The New York plastic surgeon who developed the 24-hour InstaBreast is working on a “vacation breast” saline concoction that would last two to three weeks, ABC News reported.

“Twenty-four hours is great,” said Dr. Norman Rowe, “but it’s still just 24 hours.”

Mr. Rowe said vacation breasts are intended for special occasions but also would give women better ideas of what permanent implants would look and feel like.

“You can use 3-D imaging and put implants in bras,” he told ABC, “but it’s another thing to see what the weight will actually feel like and what it will be like to live with the new breasts.”

Mr. Rowe said he is in talks with the Food and Drug Administration and estimated that the vacation breasts would be available in two years.

It doesn’t stop at breasts. Mr. Rowe said the procedure, likely costing less than $2,500, also could be used for men who want more muscular-looking calves or pectorals, he told ABC.
