Atlanta student gets sick during class, later dies

ATLANTA (AP) - Grief counselors were visiting at an Atlanta middle school after an eighth grade student got sick during class and later died.

Atlanta Public Schools Interim Superintendent Erroll Davis says Melvin Bussey, a student at Bunche Middle School in northwest Atlanta, got sick during class Wednesday and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Details on the boy’s cause of death weren’t immediately available.
