PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say their chief’s uniforms have been stolen.

They say two shirts and a pair of slacks belonging to Chief Daniel Garcia apparently were stolen while they were at the dry cleaners.

The items were taken from a north Phoenix cleaner along with other people’s clothing.

A police spokesman says there was nothing on the clothes to indicate they were the chief’s other than a Phoenix Police Department patch on the sleeve.

Garcia was hired by Phoenix in May 2012 after 34 years with the Dallas Police Department.
