HOUSTON (AP) - A prostitution crackdown in the Houston area has led to 18 arrests by officers also investigating possible human trafficking.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office on Monday announced the filing of more than 20 criminal charges in the sting involving a bar and a cantina.

Members of a vice unit last Thursday arrested 15 women and three men on prostitution and other counts. Further details on the additional charges were not immediately released. Law enforcement video shows officers finding a least one bed at an establishment where deputies had posed as customers.

Investigators say the raids were prompted by numerous complaints about the businesses.
