COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Columbus police shot and killed a knife-wielding suspect they say charged toward officers with the weapon.
Police say they responded to a Columbus neighborhood around 1 a.m. Saturday after getting multiple calls about a man yelling, banging on doors and trying to break into homes.
Officers shot the man multiple times after they say he charged toward them with the knife.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name was not immediately released. The shooting is under investigation.
