MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Students at Pierpont Community and Technical College soon will have a smoother path to complete an online bachelor’s degree at West Virginia University.

Officials from both schools are scheduled to sign a transfer articulation agreement on Monday afternoon.

The university says Pierpont students will be able to transfer seamlessly into the online multidisciplinary studies bachelor’s degree. A path developed by the schools defines which courses students should take at Pierpont.

After they earn an associate’s degree from Pierpont, students can personalize their bachelor’s degree by choosing three minors instead of one major.
