ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A Saratoga County woman faces prison time and has been ordered to pay back more than $83,000 after pleading guilty to stealing from two former employers.

Albany County District Attorney David Soares’ office says 35-year-old Hillary Downey of Clifton Park entered her guilty plea before County Judge Stephen Herrick on Thursday.

Officials say she stole about $11,000 from an Albany day care, Children’s Place at the Plaza, before she was fired. Then she was hired as a payroll account manager at Secure Solutions in Bethlehem, where she embezzled more than $72,000.

Downey faces 3 to 9 years in state prison at her May 15 sentencing.
