BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 22-year-old Baton Rouge man has been convicted of second-degree murder, armed robbery and other charges in the 2010 shooting death of a man.

The Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/OH1uxF ) Brandon Seals faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison in the killing of 32-year-old Otis Taylor on Dec. 23, 2010.

On Thursday, state District Judge Richard Anderson scheduled Seals’ sentencing for April 16.
