FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas has named a new executive director for its Arkansas Alumni Association.

Brandy Cox will take over as associate vice chancellor for alumni and executive director of the alumni association beginning April 21. Cox grew up in Hot Springs Village and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas.

The university says Cox previously worked in alumni relations and development at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. She currently works as the senior director of university programs for the OSU Foundation at Oklahoma State University.

Cox holds a bachelor’s degree in radio, TV and film from the University of the Ozarks and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas.
