MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - A Central Point woman accused of taking more than $175,000 from her employer pleaded guilty Thursday to theft charges in Jackson County Circuit Court.
The district attorney’s office says 34-year-old Amanda Ann Shannon was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to repay the money in restitution.
The Mail Tribune reports (https://is.gd/Cmot4w) Shannon was a bookkeeper for the Western Lumber Co. in Medford and deposited its money into her bank accounts.
