CHICAGO (AP) - The cruise boat company that runs the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s downtown river tours has expanded its fleet.

Chicago’s First Lady Cruises now has six vessels with the addition of a custom-built 98 foot boat called Chicago’s Classic Lady.

It was built by Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and christened this past week at an event attended by Chicago tourism officials.

The cruise company partners with the architecture foundation to run tours along the Chicago River as it winds between the city’s skyscrapers and other landmarks.

It also uses the fleet for wedding parties and other private events.
