George W. Bush, president No. 43, is in process of penning a biography about his equally famous father, George H.W. Bush, president No. 41, with a publication date set for November.
Crown Publisher announced the book and roughly described it as a story about No. 43’s father, as well as his life and career, both inside and outside of the political world, Upstart Magazine reported.
“The book covers the entire scope of the elder President Bush’s life and career, including his service in the Pacific during World War II, his pioneering works in the Texas oil business, and his political rise as a congressman, U.S. representative to China and the United Nations, CIA director, vice president and president,” Crown Publishers said in a press release.
The younger Mr. Bush left the White House in 2009 and resumed an active private life — which included a return to one of his favorite hobbies, painting.
The elder Bush, meanwhile, who just turned 90 years old, celebrated his birthday by making a parachute jump from a helicopter.
