Hamas radicals in the Gaza Strip shot off more than a dozen rockets toward Israel in the overnight hours, scoring a direct hit on a house that’s serving as a summer camp for youth.

Local media reported that nobody was injured by the summer camp blast. But another rocket that struck in western Negev partially destroyed a building, NBC News reported.

Israel, meanwhile, responded to the attack with what military officials called “precision” airstrikes against 15 or so Hamas targets, NBC News said.

Israel has vowed retaliation against Hamas for the kidnapping and murder of three teens. Hamas denies murdering the teens, but did publicly express praise for their kidnappings.
