A 51-year-old man was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct after he jumped in a fish tank that contains sharks at the New England Aquarium in Boston.

Stephen Pellegrine was reportedly intoxicated when he snuck into the facility without paying and hopped a waist-high wall to enter the water.

“He jumped into the fish tank, which is 27 feet deep,” Suffolk County assistant district attorney Erica Brody told the local Fox News affiliate. “There are sharks in there.”

The man, described by police and witnesses as seemingly under the influence of alcohol, escaped without injury.

In addition to sharks, the tank included sea turtles, stingrays, eels and fish, according to the Patriot Ledger.

“Fortunately, the sharks had already been fed,” Suffolk County District Attorney’s office spokesman Jake Wark told the Ledger.
