DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Jamie Adams scored 26 points and Reggie Lewis added 20 as Florida A&M defeated Bethune-Cookman 80-75 on Saturday.

Neither team led by more than three points in the second half before Lewis hit a 3-pointer to give Florida A&M a 73-71 lead, then Adams added a trey to stretch the lead to 76-71 with 37 seconds left. Mike Trapp made a pair of free throws to pull Bethune-Cookman within 76-73 before Lewis and Willie Conner each made two free throws to cap the scoring for the Rattlers.

Jamari Bradshaw scored 15 points and Trey Kellum added 11 points with 12 rebounds for Florida A&M (11-16, 7-7 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), which has won three straight games.

Mikel Trapp scored 26 points and Clemmye Owens added 24 to lead Bethune-Cookman (6-23, 4-10). Troy Simmons dished out five assists for the Wildcats.
