TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Jamie Adams scored 19 points, including a three-point play with 1:11 left, as Florida A&M beat Delaware State 68-63 on Monday.

Adams had six assists but was the only Florida A&M (10-16, 6-7 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) player to score in double figures.

Delaware State (7-18, 3-9) was led by DeAndre Haywood with 20 points. Kendall Gray had 16 points, 13 rebounds and Tyshawn Bell added 13. The loss snapped the Hornets’ three game winning streak.

Delaware State trailed the entire second half but tied it at 54, 56, and 59 with 1:59 remaining. Jomari Bradshaw gave Florida A&M the lead for good with two free throws and Adams’ basket and free throw made it a two possession game. Haywood and Casey Walker pulled Delaware State to within three points with 20 and 11 seconds left, respectively, but Willie Conner and Adams made 4 of 4 free throws to seal it.
