GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - A 22-year-old man who was involved in a crash in northern Colorado that killed two siblings and an Air Force senior airman has pleaded guilty to careless driving resulting in death.
The Greeley Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/Mo7omb ) Anthony Alacca, of Cheyenne, Wyo., pleaded guilty to the single count Friday and is scheduled to be sentenced March 14.
Alacca was driving on U.S. 85 early on the morning of Aug. 15 when he failed to negotiate a curve north of Nunn, sending the vehicle into an access road before it went airborne and rolled at least once.
Killed were 21-year-old Michael De La Rosa, 19-year-old Mariah Lynn De La Rosa, both of Cheyenne; and 21-year-old senior airman Michael Gnoato, who was stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base near Cheyenne.
