The Taliban had a very specific hit list of young boy that it used for its Dec. 16 attack on a Peshawar school that killed 141 people.

The Taliban’s Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP confirmed the macabre list on Wednesday.

“More than 50 sons of important army officers were killed after being identified,” the email said, Bloomberg News reported Thursday. “The auditorium where students of secondary and higher secondary sections were being taught first aid was targeted.”

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif responded to the attack by saying that government forces would find those responsible.

“The fight will continue. No one should have any doubt about it. We will take account of each and every drop of our children’s blood,” Mr. Sharif said, The Associated Press reported Tuesday.
