Retired soccer star David Beckham and his 15-year-old son, Brooklyn, reportedly escaped serious injury after being in a car crash Saturday in London.

Beckham, 39, the former England captain, had picked up his son from Arsenal’s training ground in Hertfordshire when his Audi crashed just outside, The Telegraph reported.

“They were shaken,” a source close to Beckham told the paper. “It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed, but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.”

Brooklyn was signed by Arsenal on a short-term contract in November. His brother, Romeo, 12, and Cruz, 9, have also been playing soccer for the club’s underage teams, The Telegraph reported.
